Banksia Tours NORMAL PAYMENT TERMS are
DEPOSITS - within 7 days of confirming a booking with us, a suitable deposit (by mutual agreement or as set out in a particular itinerary) is required on all long distance charter or tours to ensure that a coach or seat is held for you. Day trips do not normally require a deposit unless we have to forward one ourselves to hold entertainment or services.
LOCAL CHARTER & TOURS - full payment on the day for charters, payment in full before departure for tours that include meals, entertainment and entrance fees or services.
LONG DISTANCE CHARTER & TOURS - full payment is required 7 days before departure for charter, while tours which include accommodation, meals, entertainment and entrance fees or services, need to be paid in full at least 21 days before departure.
EXTENDED HOLIDAYS - full payment is required 21 days before departure to ensure that all requirements are held and are available for the particular holiday.
REFUNDS & CANCELLATIONS - refunds are at the management's discretion. It is highly recommended that individual passengers take out cancellation insurance as a minimum to cover monies paid, or full travel insurance on tours and holidays to protect not only their fares, but also associated costs for unforseen sickness or accident and lost or damaged property (luggage, cameras, jewellery). We are unable to refund monies that are paid to others on your behalf, and such refunds from them are subject to their discretion or policies. If cancellation is due to health or sickness, a doctors certificate will need to be produced. We like to be fair and will look at each situation and consider all circumstances that arise to enable an amicable outcome. Generally, if an individual is unable to proceed with a tour, we do our best to allow the same tour to be undertaken at a later date for the same price where practicable, or the fare to be credited toward another tour.
